Police in West Virginia said a man burned down his Sissonville home because he was angry at his wife for not having dinner ready.
The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department said Beverly Jones called a 911 emergency operator Sunday night and reported her husband, Guy Jones, 60, had set fire to their home.
Deputy A.J. Miller arrived on the scene just before midnight where Beverly Jones told him she and her husband argued about dinner not being ready.
After the argument, Beverly Jones fled to a neighbor’s home and saw her husband exit the house after flames appeared in the basement.
Jones said her husband had been drinking. No way!
Guy Jones was arrested and taken to South Central Regional Jail on a first-degree arson charge.
