Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina attempted to explain why her daughter’s SCRAM bracelet lit up like a Christmas tree at a party last weekend, telling New York Post gossip column PageSix that the device was activated because someone spilled a drink on Lindsay’s leg.
“She was at the MTV Awards and somebody spilled a drink on her leg, which must have set off the SCRAM bracelet,” Lohan’s mother said.
“She has done absolutely nothing wrong and shouldn’t have to wear the bracelet in the first place. She is doing absolutely fine.”
Uh, yea…right.
Now everyone knows where Lindsay gets her stupidity from.
Perhaps in the world of make believe where Dina and Lindsay Lohan reside, that argument might fly.
But in the real world where people with common sense dwell, Dina’s half-witted effort to exonerate her daughter gets called out for what it is…bullshit.
Evidence of Dina Lohan’s mindlessness was even more apparent considering she was quoted in PageSix after a published report “indicated the presence of a small amount of alcohol”.
If Dina Lohan really wants to help her daughter, perhaps she’ll stop enabling the lifestyle choices she continues to make that have gotten her in this situation.
