The third time is a charm in the case of Baltimore Ravens rookie defensive tackle Terrence Cody, after he finally passed the team’s conditioning test on Wednesday morning.
Cody was cleared to begin practicing after he was unable to complete the team’s running drill in the permitted time frame on Tuesday.
“I think it’s a credit to him. It shows that he was in shape,” said Ravens head coach John Harbaugh. “He’s a little heavy right now. He’s got to lose a little weight, but that will happen in training camp. The fact that he’s in shape is important. That’s the bottom line. It shows you he’s come to work.”
Are you fucking kidding me? A little heavy? He needs to lose a little weight? He’s in shape?
I want to smoke whatever Harbaugh has been tooting on.
Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata has already given Cody the nickname “cheeseburger”, and this is coming from a guy who weighs 345 pounds.
Cody is listed at 354 pounds but that was taken shortly after the Ravens drafted him in April, well before the former pride of the Crimson Tide limited himself to six buckets of KFC per day.
One thing Cody has going for him though…his boobs are so big that supermodels who’ve spent thousands on breast enhancements are utterly furious they can’t match his cup size.
