In January 2009 we featured fitness model Jamie Eason, a young woman that had risen to become one of the faces of bodybuilding.
Not knowing much about her at the time, I gleaned through her bio and noticed that she was once a cheerleader for the NFL’s Houston Texans.
But what I didn’t know was that her time as a Texans’ cheerleader would be brief because of breast cancer.
After Eason had the neoplasm removed she found herself working behind a desk and eventually noticed her inactive lifestyle was ruining her body.
She decided to get back in the gym and revised her diet, reshaping her figure into the firm sculpture that it is today.
Eason serves as an inspiration to those who aspire to be physically fit and the thousands of women around the world who get breast cancer every year.
Jamie Eason does indeed make bodybuilding sexy, but her victory over breast cancer is by far her greatest achievement.
