Former NFL player Travis Henry leads the universe with the number of kids he’s fathered, but New York Jets corner Antonio Cromartie is trying to break his record.
Last night on HBO’s Hard Knocks, Cromartie was featured as one of the players important to the Jets secondary while Darrelle Revis holds out for a new contract.
After showing some footage of Cromartie having a discussion with secondary coach Dennis Thurman about being aggressive on every down, the segment shifted to the corner’s life off the field.
Cromartie has been a busy bee away from the gridiron, fathering eight kids. He had to literally think a moment or two while he remembered each of his kids’ names and their ages.
After Cromartie named the fifth kid, my mind immediately turned to Henry, who fathered 11 kids with 10 women.
The segment featured Cromartie and his wife, whom he identified as the mother of their youngest child.
Cromartie didn’t mention how many other women he’s had kids with, but he named three kids who are all three years old, so basic math tells us there are at least three other women he’s had kids with, unless one of the women had triplets.
