Piranha 3D opens in theaters today with an ensemble cast that includes model Kelly Brook and porn stars Riley Steel and Ashlynn Brooke.
The film is set in Lake Havasu, Arizona, a small town whose population explodes to 10 times its size during the July 4 weekend.
After a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of prehistoric man-eating piranha, an unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming human bait.
The main cast of Piranha 3D features Richard Dreyfuss of Jaws fame, who’s obviously going to be right at home in a film with dangerous sea-dwelling creatures.
The film also stars Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction), Elisabeth Shue (Leaving Las Vegas), Eli Roth, Jerry O’Connell (Jerry Maguire) and Christopher Lloyd, who’s famous for his role as Dr. Emmett Brown in “Back to the Future”.
Piranha 3D isn’t going to win any Academy Awards, but it’s sure to be a T&A, slash ‘n gash fun-filled flick.
