Keanu Reeves has been voted the top movie quarterback according to a survey conducted by MovieTickets.com.
Reeves played the role of Shane Falco in the film “The Replacements” as a washed up, hull cleaning former college QB who gets a second chance when the NFL players go on strike.
The survey was done to coincide with the start of the NFL season tonight when the New Orleans Saints begin their defense of the Super Bowl title against the Minnesota Vikings.
Reeves won 28 percent of the vote in the survey, followed by Adam Sandler who played Paul Crewe in the remake of “The Longest Yard”.
Kip Pardue’s Ronnie ‘Sunshine’ Bass from “Remember the Titans” came in third. Jamie Foxx, as Willie Beaman in “Any Given Sunday”, and James Van Der Beek’s Jonathan ‘Mox’ Moxon from “Varsity Blues” rounded out the top five.
