The first week of the SEC Rivals college football picks contest is in the books and week two is set to begin separating the contenders from the pretenders.
Thanks to our good friends at Ole Miss – aka “The Fightin’ Ackbars” – six of the panelists finished the week with a 12-1 record. And the Rebels wonder why everybody in the SEC hates them.
This week has already begun when Auburn defeated Mississippi State last night 17-14. Naturally, I correctly picked Auburn to win the game. Some unlucky souls (uh, Darrell) picked the Bulldogs but hey, I can understand why – those cowbells can drive an opposing team crazy.
Twelve games remain on this week’s schedule including all of the marquee matchups: Alabama Vs Penn State, Florida State Vs Oklahoma, Miami (FL) Vs Ohio State and Notre Dame Vs Michigan.
