Today marks the ninth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and The Pentagon, a day that none of us will ever forget.
Nearly 3,000 innocent people lost their lives because of 19 cowards representing the terrorist organization al-Qaeda.
Many had their lives taken from them that day, while others gave their lives trying to save those in peril.
For everyone that lost a family member or friend, please accept my deepest condolences and know that my thoughts are with you today and every day.
Terrorism isn’t going away and neither is the pain that was inflicted on this day nine years ago.
Let us never forget.
