Let’s Help Rock 103′s John “Bad Dog” McCormack Fight Cancer

If you’ve lived in Memphis over the past 20 years, you’ll know the name John “Bad Dog” McCormack is synonymous with Rock 103.

The man who’s brought us a lot of laughs needs our help in his fight against cancer. McCormack has been in a long battle with leukemia and is in need of a bone marrow transplant.

McCormack has spent a lot of his time on the air helping to raise money for worthy causes, like the Ronald McDonald Foundation and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Obviously, a bone marrow transplant costs a lot of money and friends of McCormack have set up the Web site Friends of Bad Dog to help raise funds.

In addition to the Web site, a trust fund has been established at First Tennessee Bank and area restaurants are donating proceeds to help McCormack.

Thursday, November 4th, kicks off “Dog Day”, a community rally to raise money for McCormack and his family.

You can donate at any of the participating businesses listed at Friends of Bad Dog or at any First Tennessee Bank.

For a man who has given so much of his time helping others, we need to give whatever we can to help McCormack in his time of need.
