Actress Jaime Pressly is in trouble with the Internal Revenue Service after allegedly failing to pay more than $376,000 in taxes.
Authorities at the IRS filed a $95,080 lien against Pressly in June and in September another tax demand for $281,699 was levied against her.
Pressly is said to owe the money in relation to unpaid taxes from 2008.
I love Jaime Pressly (link slightly NSFW) to death, but she’s another in a seemingly endless line of celebrities that can’t get their heads wrapped around the tax codes.
Frankly there’s no excuse any of these celebrities have for not paying taxes, regardless if they oversee their finances themselves or have an accountant handle it for them.
Nevertheless, I hope she gets her tax issues squared away.
