Via Deadspin, the Cam Newton saga reached an apex on Thursday when Bleacher Report posted and article claiming the Auburn quarterback had been suspended.
There was only one problem with the article though – Newton hadn’t been suspended.
Bleacher Report = EPIC FAIL.
I’d like to know which editor dropped the ball and allowed this story to get posted in the first place.
Allowing a story that has as much national attention as this to make it past an editor without verification and then have it posted on their site goes beyond irresponsible.
I’ll bet Cam Newton is happy the editors at Bleacher Report aren’t conducting the investigations into the allegations he sought payment for his services from Mississippi State.
