In what has to be the most egregious decision by a politician this year, Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett has banned the Lingerie Football League from his city.
Cornett won’t allow the Lingerie Football League to play in any city-owned venue because, according to the mayor, “there are too many problems to list.”
The LFL was hoping to have a franchise in Oklahoma City before the start of next season, but that clearly isn’t going to happen.
Exactly what problems could arise from a game featuring half-naked chicks groping each other?
Whatever the half-assed reasons Cornett could probably come up with, his decision to deny the good people of Oklahoma City the opportunity to watch attractive women show off their boobs and booties is the real problem.
Not that I had any intentions of doing so, but you can rest assured I’ll never make Oklahoma City my home.
