A source close to Charlie Sheen says the actor’s attorney, Marty Singer, is “closing in on” finding the missing $165,000 watch that was allegedly stolen by porn star Capri Anderson.
Singer has reportedly received multiple calls regarding the whereabouts of the missing watch, although Anderson has denied taking it during her liaison with Sheen at the Plaza Hotel in New York City last month.
Sheen’s attorneys believe Anderson stole the watch during the actor’s tirade and has since hidden it.
The source said Sheen’s attorneys are gathering information about the watch and what Anderson did with it.
The source said, “if they [Sheen's lawyers] find the watch and connect it to her, Capri is in even bigger trouble.”
Anderson, whose real name is Christina Walsh, announced on Good Morning America that she was suing Sheen for battery and false imprisonment.
The day following her appearance on the morning show, Sheen filed a counter suit against Anderson claiming that she tried to extort $1 million from him after the hotel incident.
