Bristol Palin, daughter of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, has decided to return to school and complete her degree at Arizona State University.
Palin, who earlier this year competed on the TV series “Dancing with the Stars,” will pursue a degree in broadcasting and has purchased a house near the Sun Devil campus.
Palin must have done well financially as a result of her appearance on Dancing with the Stars because she made a down payment of $172,000 for the home in Maricopa, a suburb of Phoenix.
Downtown College Republicans president Zachary Ziebart said news of Palin’s enrollment has created a firestorm, saying that “Facebook has already been going crazy with status updates of excitement, mixed feelings and non-acceptance.”
Chances are good Palin won’t be able to enjoy a normal college experience like most, unless you call living in a cocoon normal because that’s exactly what her days at Arizona State will be.
