Talk about desperation. Ana Perez called 911 to try to get police to scare her boyfriend into proposing to her.
On Sunday, officers responded to a call of a battery in progress where the 40-year-old Perez said she was being attacked by her boyfriend, according to police.
“But after the cops get there she tells them that she made up the story to get police to the scene,’” said Grand Central District Police Captain Ronald Pontecore.
“She called 911 to scare him and have the police force him to marry her,’” according to Pontecore, who wasn’t at all amused by her antics.
Perez was arrested and has been charged with disorderly conduct.
