Tracy Morgan probably won’t be invited back on TNT’s NBA coverage anytime soon after saying Sarah Palin was “good masturbation material.”
Morgan joined Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley from Madison Square Garden prior to the New York Knicks taking on the Miami Heat.
Smith asked Morgan to pick between Palin and Tina Fey, but Barkley interceded and made the comment that Palin was good looking, with Morgan quickly agreeing.
But Morgan then answered Smith’s question by saying that Palin was “good masturbation material.”
Morgan’s reply got a few chuckles but didn’t win him any points with TNT executives.
The network issued an apology saying, “It’s unfortunate Mr. Morgan showed a lack of judgment on our air with his inappropriate comments,” said Turner spokesman Jeff Pomeroy.
