Super Bowl XLV Falls Short of Attendance Record

An announced crowd of 103,219 fans attending Super Bowl XLV in Dallas fell short of setting the attendance record set at Super Bowl XIV in Pasadena.

In fact, this year’s Super Bowl attendance was only third-best in the game’s 45-year history. Super Bowl XIV at the Rose Bowl has the all-time attendance record with 103,985.

Pasadena is also the site with the second-best attendance mark, when 103,667 fans walked through the turnstiles at Super Bowl XVII.
