Man Fined For Running Adult Bed And Breakfast Featuring Bondage

A Collierville, TN man accused of running an adult bed and breakfast that advertised bondage, dominance and sadomasochism has been fined $1,000.

Owner James Williams was cited for advertising “Zanthia House” online last October as the premier place for bondage and was ordered to take down the site.

But several months later, Williams was again advertising the adult bed and breakfast and received a summons to appear in court on Thursday.

Prosecutors say Williams was not in court Thursday, but some of his angry neighbors were.

“I think he owed it to the community to be in court, and I’m disappointed that he was not there,” said Roy Cash, who lives across the street from Williams. “I think there is a whole lot more going on than meets the eye and it simply has not been found out.”

“Please stop this, move, really,” neighbor Cynthia Sadler said of her message for Williams. “Move it to somewhere else, if he’s got to do this, take it to somewhere else, not in Collierville.”

The judge ordered Williams to pay $50 for every day the site was illegally posted.
