Erin Andrews Won’t Be on Bachelorette

ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews was on KNBR radio in San Francisco on Tuesday and jokingly wondered if she should become the next “Bachelorette.”

“I’m not saying I want to be on there, but I mean I’m just wondering if I should do it? Should I just do it?,” Andrews said.

Instead of anyone verifying if she was kidding, the Internet exploded with stories that Andrews was going to do the show.

Andrews took to her Twitter account to quell the rumors, tweeting, “Made a silly joke on the radio and no one called to verify before reporting. I will not be the next Bachelorette.”

Not to mention, the show has already selected the woman who will be the next Bachelorette, meaning Andrews couldn’t do it even if she wanted to.

Disney properties like to cross promote and having Andrews as a celebrity Bachelorette could mean the show’s ratings would be huge, but I don’t know how happy ESPN would be having her on the show.
