Out of more than 5.9 million brackets filled out for this year’s ESPN Tournament Challenge, only two people correctly picked all of the Final Four teams.
With Connecticut, Kentucky, VCU and Butler headed to Houston next week, it’s no wonder only two people got all four of those teams correct.
A little more than 70 percent of the 5.9 million brackets – including President Obama – didn’t pick one of the Final Four teams.
It does beg the question though, who in their right mind would pick VCU to make the Final Four?
You can understand UConn and Kentucky being widely picked considering both of those teams have played well down the stretch.
An argument can even be made for Butler because of their run to the national championship game last season.
But VCU was clearly one of the teams that millions of people thought wouldn’t make it out of the first round.
And some people, like ESPN’s Jay Bilas, were actually pissed off at the selection committee for extending an invitation to a team they didn’t think deserved to be in the tournament.
But the 11th-seeded Rams are going to the Final Four where they’ll face 8th-seeded Butler in one national semifinal game.
As for the two people that got all Final Four teams correct, my hats off to them.

While they do have all 4 final teams in their, they are not perfect brackets.
