ISM PubStop is The Best In-Image Advertising Choice

With web site publishers looking for innovative ways to monetize their sites, many have turned to in-image advertising as a means to generate additional revenue.

With banner CPM rates dropping over the past year, many publishers were able to partially offset the loss of revenue by using in-image ads.

Like many publishers, I initially used Gum Gum as the source of my in-image advertising, but over the course of several months the revenue I was generating began to decrease.

In April, Gum Gum announced they were revising their payment terms and would begin paying publishers every 60 days. I sent Gum Gum an e-mail voicing my opposition to their new policy, and made it clear I was going to find an alternative source for in-image advertising.

In response to my e-mail, Sarah Wallace, Relationship Manager for Gum Gum, wrote to me on April 25 saying, “changing our terms to net 60 is standard for all ad networks. It doesn’t make sense to pay our publishers before we receive the advertiser money since they are directly related.”

No, net 60 is not standard among all ad networks and to prove it, Image Space Media – my new provider of in-image advertising – pays publishers every 30 days.

ISM’s PubStop in-image advertising program is superior in every respect, paying higher CPM rates based on page impressions as opposed to Gum Gum paying publishers based on page views.

And unlike Gum Gum’s floating CPM rate, ISM PubStop pays a fixed CPM which gives web site publishers a better idea of the revenue they can expect to earn each month.

Inserting PubStop’s snippet of JavaScript is quick and easy. For publishers using WordPress platforms, there’s a plug-in available that takes less than two minutes to install.

Image Space Media uses keyword matching based on metadata that ensures all ads are targeted and relevant. The in-image ads can be used alongside standard display or banner advertising and won’t compromise your site’s content.

Publishers can track their revenue using ISM’s PubStop online dashboard that isolates how your revenues are being generated by domain, category and image.

You can also use their image manager tool to toggle off ads running on certain images. And as noted above, PubStop will pay publishers every 30 days via PayPal or by check.

Image Space Media accepts web sites that publish content similar to what you’ll see here at MoonDog Sports, but they will not accept sites that publish pornographic content.

Publishers aren’t going to get rich running in-image ads regardless of who they use, but if you want to make more money and get paid sooner, then ISM’s PubStop is the best in-image advertising choice.

Registering your site with Image Space Media is easy. Just click the banner below and take a few minutes to get your site set up.
