You probably have heard by now that Congressman Anthony Weiner is under scrutiny after a lewd photo was sent from his Twitter account to a college student in Seattle.
At issue is whether Congressman Weiner sent the photo or if his Twitter account was hacked. According to Weiner, the photo in question is not him and he claims that his Twitter account was hacked.
However, when questioned about the matter Congressman Weiner refused to get the FBI involved. It stands to reason that if a sitting U.S. Congressman had his Twitter account hacked, Weiner would want to get some answers.
But the congressman has instead chosen to hire a private security firm to investigate and has also retained counsel, not exactly what you would expect from someone who claims his Twitter account was hacked.
Also at issue were some of the people Congressman Weiner was following on Twitter, one of which was porn star Ginger Lee.
Lee was one of several coed types that Weiner was following, calling into question why he would do so after recently being married.
Regardless of your political persuasion, watching Weiner self implode on this issue has been comical. Not only has he made himself look like a complete fool, he’s been marked with a reputation of having a soft spot for young girls and porn stars.
After it was discovered that Lee was one of people Weiner was following, he – or someone possibly hacking into his account – has removed her from his followers list.
