The FIFA Women’s World Cup is set to being in Berlin on June 26 and to celebrate the event, several members of Germany’s women’s soccer team posed in a racy layout for Playboy.
Suffice it to say, Deutscher Fussball-Bund, Germany’s World Cup committee, wasn’t exactly thrilled to learn the young frauleins chose to show off more than their soccer skills in the pages of Playboy.
The German edition of Playboy magazine went on sale Sunday and will be available for the duration of the three-week Women’s World Cup tournament.

Germany is the defending Women’s World Cup champions and is considered a strong contender to repeat. The United States women are also among the 16 teams vying for the championship.
