Porn Star and feature dancer Ginger Lee seized on her popularity gained from the Weinergate scandal by appearing at the Pink Pony strip club in Atlanta.
Lee, along with her attorney Gloria Allred, held a press conference on June 15 to answer questions about her involvement with former congressman Anthony Weiner.
The former porn star who has about 50 titles to her credit told reporters that she had about a three-month Internet exchange with Weiner, but did not reciprocate his sexually-charged conversational gambits.
“I did not sext Anthony Weiner,” Lee said, adding that Weiner tried to get her to issue a statement denying that they had engaged in online banter.
Lee also said that the ordeal “caused her severe emotional distress.” but just one day following the press conference she was in Atlanta performing before a sparse crowd at the Pink Pony.
Despite all the emotional distress she claims to have suffered, Lee was able to get three times her normal rate for her appearance at the Pink Pony.
According to TMZ, those in attendance didn’t like what they saw from Lee and the applause following her performance was “weak.”
