Heavy MMA presents UFC 133, live from the Wells Fargo Center on August 6 featuring a rematch between former light heavyweight champions Rashad Evans and Tito Ortiz.
Evans has been on the sidelines since a May 2010 grudge match win over “A-Team” star Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.
Ortiz resurrected his career just last month, earning a shocking submission win over hot prospect Ryan Bader – a bout where Ortiz found himself a 4 to1 underdog.
Ortiz will attempt to continue his emotional career resurgence against Evans this Saturday despite taking the fight on a mere three weeks notice. These two warriors fought to a controversial draw in 2007 after Ortiz was penalized a point for holding the cage.
Also featured on the card is a sure-to-be-exciting co-main event between middleweights Vitor Belfort and Yoshihiro Akiyama.
Belfort lost to Anderson Silva in a title fight earlier this year, while Akiyama will try to battle back from two consecutive losses (though Fight of the Night performances) to Michael Bisping and Chris Leben.
