Police in Spring Hill, Tennessee arrested teacher Daniel Toroll on August 11 after he was caught engaging in a sex act with a doll outside an elementary school.
Officers were called to Allendale Elementary School amid reports of a white male with a duffel bag under a bridge on school property. The bridge provides access to the school from the main road.
Spring Hill police told Nashville’s News 2 the responding officer witnessed Toroll performing sex acts on a child-like doll that police later discovered he’d cut holes into.
Unconfirmed reports suggest the holes were very small, which police say made sense given Toroll’s diminutive build.
The responding officer reported the man was in a location where he could be seen by people driving up to the school.
Authorities took Toroll into custody and charged him with public indecency. He was issued a citation and ordered to stay off school property and was also told to stop doing weird things to the doll.
Toroll told detectives he teaches private music lessons from his home. He is not a teacher at Allendale Elementary School.
Toroll’s web site says he teaches “eight very gifted students” ranging in age from seven to 12 years old. There was no mention of him being a freak.
Toroll is scheduled to appear in court September 2.
