The Milwaukee Brewers are the hottest team in baseball, having won 17 of their last 19 games and they have the best home record in MLB too, winning 45 of their 60 games at Miller Park.
The Brew Crew are on the verge of running away with the National League Central following Monday’s 3-0 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Milwaukee has increased their lead in the division to six games after St. Louis lost to Pittsburgh 6-2.
And while the Brewers are having a lot of success on the field, they’re having a lot of success at the gate as well.
While the nation’s poor economy has lead to overall lower attendance figures throughout MLB, the Brewers are one of a handful of small market teams that have seen an increase in attendance.
Milwaukee has drawn over 2.2 million fans through 60 home games this season and are on pace to draw nearly three million to Miller Park.
The Brewers are currently 10th in MLB attendance and could end up drawing more fans this season than the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Fox Business Network sent a reporter to Miller Park to speak with the Brewers COO Rick Schlesinger and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett to discuss the reasons behind the attendance increase.
