After Saturday’s welterweight title fight between Floyd Mayweather and Victor Ortiz, there was a heated exchange between Mayweather and HBO’s Larry Merchant.
Mayweather won the fight with a knockout of Ortiz in the fourth round after the two had been separated in the corner following a head butt by Ortiz.
Following the fight, Merchant criticized the controversial manner in which the fight ended, Mayweather exploded, “You never give me a fair shake. HBO needs to fire you. You don’t know shit about boxing!”
Merchant shot back, “I wish I was 50 years younger and I’d kick your ass” before handlers separated the two.
