New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski apologized on Wednesday after he was photographed with porn star Bibi Jones that was posted on her Twitter account.
The photo featured a shirtless Gronkowski standing next to Jones who was wearing his Patriots jersey.
During an interview on Boston radio station 98.5 The Sports Hub, Jones said that Gronkowski didn’t mind her wearing the jersey and wanted the porn star to post the image on Twitter because she had more followers.
This isn’t the first time Jones has been seen wearing an NFL jersey on Twitter. In August, we posted a gallery of her which featured the porn star wearing the jersey of Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald.
Gronkowski said he wasn’t trying to embarrass anyone by taking the photos with Jones.
“I didn’t intend anything to hurt the reputation of anyone on the New England Patriots or on behalf of Robert Kraft,” said Gronkowski. “That’s all, just a simple picture, that’s all.”
And as to the question whether Gronkowski and Jones fooled around, that was addressed during her interview on The Sports Hub.
“Nothing happened,” Jones said. “I wish something happened, but nothing happened.”
